PVE Elite Prospect Camp
The 2024 event will be held June 29th - July 1st at PennWest California (California, PA). Girls entering their sophomore, junior or senior year of high school in the Fall of 2024 are eligible to attend. Find out which coaches are involved, and read what former attendees and their parents said here!

PVE’s Elite Prospect Camp is run by a former college volleyball coach and is designed to connect high school athletes with college coaches while providing high intensity college level training to every athlete. Read what former attendees and their parents said here! This three day camp combines the benefits of a great college volleyball camp, with that of an elite showcase. Our college coaches attending are excited to share their knowledge of the game, but are also there actively looking to find the next member of their program.
Each college coach is carefully selected and evaluated to ensure that our athletes have an excellent experience year after year.
Camp sessions are designed to mimic the college environment to give athletes a sneak peak of what to expect if they were to attend that coach’s college.
We only hire college coaches to run training sessions, and will maintain a 10:1 athlete to college coach ratio or better (2019 was 5:1).
Athletes will receive position specific training in their position groups to develop specific skills and concepts unique to each position.
Athletes will be assigned to teams where their coach will train them as a team like they would in their own gyms.
Athletes will engage in ‘chalk talk’ sessions to think about advanced strategies and issues in ways their coaches would present to their teams.
We strive to offer every athlete an experience that challenges them both mentally and physically in a positive way.

Every college coach in attendance will receive a recruiting packet with physical testing results from camp, and information provided by athletes.
Portions of camp will be filmed and along with camper information will shared with college coaches around the region to evaluate athletes.
We are run independently of any individual college in order to promote a wide range of colleges and universities.
Our format allows campers to have the unique opportunity to build real relationships and work with a variety of college coaches.

PVE offers information sessions for players and parents at no additional cost. These question and answer sessions will be led by college coaches and players.
The Parent Information Session is led by college coaches and includes topics such as: navigating your child’s college search, the recruiting process (including admissions and financial aid), and the expectations of college athletes.
The Athlete Information Session is led by college athletes who describe and answer questions about the recruiting process, their college experience, and the lessons they’ve learned.
College coaches also take the time to discuss their program’s expectations and insights into what they look for in athletes with the athletes in attendance.
Learning more about these important topics empowers parents and athletes to make informed decisions as they go about their college searches.
